Frequently Asked Questions on the before/during/after stages of the construction process of a new pool —

By placing a call to our office or completing our online contact form, you will be able to set up an appointment with one of our staff members to visit your house. At this time we would evaluate your property, listen to your ideas, and give some ideas of our own for best shapes, sizes, and options to give you maximum use of your pool. We would also look to see if there are any issues for construction access at this time.

Most permits can be issued in 10-15 business days depending on the municipality.

The construction process can vary with the size of the project, but most jobs can be completed within 5 to 7 weeks.

John Seglem, owner and licensed contractor, will oversee the excavation and installation of the pool shell. Once your shell is complete, Adam will be your construction manager. He will directly supervise and be your contact through the completion of the project. Adam is reachable via email at construction@anchorpoolsfl.com to answer any questions that may arise during your build.

Of course. Upon completion of your pool, you will be given the opportunity for pool school. At this time you will learn how to operate and care for your pool. This includes learning how to turn valves, cleaning of filters, testing water, and anything else that is required to maintain the pool. If any questions arise after the pool school a simple call to our office can answer most questions.

The project is warranted 100% for the first year. In addition, the shell is warranted for life to the original owner against structural failure. The pool filtration equipment is warranted for 3 years parts and labor.

Regardless, if the issue is a warranty or a non-warranty call, a call to Anchor Pools is all that is required for service. We have a service department that can address a majority of the problems that occur.
